The ‘Vier Koningen’ in Ypres is situated in the parental house of Rudi De Volder, chef and owner of the famous restaurant ‘t Convent in Lo-Reninge. You won’t be surprised to encounter delicious quality at the ‘Vier Koningen’. In the bistro you will enjoy the fine meals prepared by Matthew, son of chef Rudi De Volder.
He chooses as well for traditional dishes, such as shrimp croquettes or vol au vent as more adventurous preparations. Every dish is made with fresh daily products.
The ‘Vier Koningen’ is also a pub, tavern and wine bar, a ballroom and a meeting room. Each room is a sign form the card game: diamonds for the meeting room, hearts for the ballroom, spades for the bistro and clover for the pub.
All rooms are stylish, modern and soberly decorated, with shades of yellow and mocha on the walls and the chairs are furnished with red. There’s also a garden terrace.
